Feeling Flat and Tired? 7 Little Things That Can Help ..

Sometimes you're not necessarily unhappy, but you can feel like you're just not yourself either.

I often feel like this around the time there is a season change or something unusually stressful has happened in my life.

You feel tired and your motivation has disappeared somewhere between the washing basket and your phone charger .. sound familiar?

Here are 7 simple ways to give yourself a little reset.

1. Let's start with the easiest one, give your skin some love. Your skin is one of the first places to show you're tired and not giving yourself enough attention. A good cleanser, serum and moisturiser can make your skin feel completely different. For an extra glow add an LED mask into your routine.

2. Give your skin a glow-up. You don't need more makeup, you just need better looking skin underneath it. If your complexion is looking dull and tired it's time to give it some attention. Choosing the right serum can become one of those little products you wonder how you ever lived without.

3. Never underestimate a good brow and lash day. A little definition around the eyes can make you look more awake and polished without needing a full face of makeup. Using a good brow and lash serum as an add on to your evening routine can make a big difference.

4. Make your wellness routine easier, my philosophy is "if it's complicated you're probably not going to keep doing it" - life is busy enough. That is why I love the simpleness of PatchIQ, the patches are designed to fit around your life rather than making you reorganise your life around them. They're convenient, discreet and incredibly easy to use.

5. Create a 'Do Not Disturb" 20 minute ritual. Put your phone on silent, make yourself herbal tea, close the door, do your skincare, put on your LED mask and sit down. For 20 minutes, nobody needs you, you don't need to answer or organise anything. If you are a woman that spends most of her day looking after everybody else those 20 minutes can feel like bliss!

6. Stop saving your good stuff for "special occasions". Why do we do this? We save the expensive perfume, the beautiful candles, the nice clothes, the special tea set and the good wine for some mysterious future event. Meanwhile, Tuesday is sitting there looking completely ordinary - make Tuesday special! Life doesn't need to be a special occasion before you're allowed to enjoy it. Just do it.

OUR PICK: The Retro Glass Teapot

7. This is the big one ... remember that you matter too. Woman are incredibly good at putting themselves last and then wonder why the exhaustion sets in. Looking after yourself isn't selfish, it's not vanity and it doesn't mean you don't care about everyone else. it simply means you count too. You deserve to feel good in your own skin and you don't need permission to have that. Do that skincare routine, take that bubble bath and read that book.

You don't need a complete transformation, you just need a little more you.
